BSA COMMUNITY SERVICES 1050 Hwy. 54 East, Fayetteville, GA 30214
In 2007, guided by her spiritual conviction, Executive Director Sheila Taylor established BSA Personal Care Home. The organization was formed in 2009 as a result of the need to provide care for her disabled daughter and other individuals with developmental disabilities. In 2012, the name was changed to BSA Community Services.
Ms. Taylor’s vision is to provide a stable and caring place for persons served with developmental challenges now and for future generations of such individuals while supporting their growth and independence. Grounded strongly in faith, Ms. Taylor believes that the development of BSA Community Services was divinely inspired by God with the assurance that every disabled individual that the organization serves will be loved, respected, nurtured, trained, and given an opportunity for growth and success without limits.
Services that provide oversight to the persons served are staffed with loving and caring professionals in suitable environments that are attractive and less restrictive and have a caring feel. Persons served will receive excellent care by committed and dedicated staff.
BSA expanded its services July 2013 to provide supportive employment, community access, life skills and prevocational services to adults with developmental disabilities. These services are provided at BSA Training Center which is located in Fayetteville, Georgia.
